Healthy & Tasty Hydration – Glaceau Vitamin Waters
Staying hydrated never tasted and FELT so good!
I recently discovered VitaminWater from Glaceau. I’d seen the bottles of brightly colored liquids in the store for awhile but had never tried them until I started feeling draggy and tired from too many hours spent writing at my computer.
VitaminWater from Glaceau comes in a variety of flavors. Each flavor has a specific combination of vitamins and other ingredients to help you recharge and rehydrate.
One of my favorite flavors is the Tropical Citrus (with b+guarana) – not only for the taste but for the ENGERY boost it gives me when I drink it. I’m in good company, too, since Carrie Underwood also reaches for Energy VitaminWater to help her zoom through her day.
Check out all the delicious flavors at www.glaceau.com. You’ll find a flavor and vitamin combination that’s that’s just right for you, whether you want more energy, relief from stress, or increased endurance and an improved overall feeling of well-being.

Make a Flavorful Bread Dipper
May 18, 2006 by Suzanne Lieurance
Filed under Food News
THURSDAY’S FOOD TIP:
Make a flavorful bread dipper with olive oil and Sun Blessed Tomato Herb Dip Mix (directions are on the package) from the Three Angels Gourmet Co.
Once you’ve prepared the bread dipper, sprinkle some into a small bowl, along with a little balsamic vinegar and finely grated parmesan cheese. Dip small pieces of french bread or Italian bread into the bowl. Yum.
You can also use the bread dipper to create a delicious, yet simple, side dish with your favorite pasta (bowtie pasta is great for this but you can use spaghetti, fettuccine, or any kind of pasta), and Parmesan cheese.

Cook the pasta, then drain it. While the pasta is still hot, drizzle with the prepared bread dipper (olive oil infused with Sun-Blessed Tomato Herb Dip Mix). Stir to distribute the oil evenly throughout the pasta. Grate fresh Parmesan over the pasta and stir it through the pasta until the cheese begins to melt. The tomato-herb olive oil helps the cheese stick to the hot pasta, and the combination of ingredients gives it a wonderful flavor.

WEDNESDAY’S FOOD TIP:
When I do product samplings in local stores, in and around Kansas City, I always enjoy showing customers how easy it is to impress their friends and family with an elegant dessert prepared with a mix from the Three Angels Gourmet Co.
Here’s a photo of our raspberry brownie mix baked in a fluted tart pan – I left them in the pan so you could see it, but they should be removed from the pan, drizzled with chocolate syrup, then piped around the edges with whipped cream before you present them at the table on a footed cake plate. Guests will never dream this impressive dessert was made with a simple mix! And you won’t believe how moist and flavorful these brownies are! M-m-m…yum!

TUESDAY’S FOOD TIP
Gourmet food stores, gift shops, and other specialty stores will want to have plenty of our delightful dip mixes on hand this spring since these mixes are so versatile.
If your customers have a package of our Mild Chilies and Cheese Dip Mix in their pantries, then they have the makings for all sorts of delicious dishes. The mix makes a cheesy dip for nachos, of course. But, it is also perfect to pour over broccoli or other cooked vegetables that need a little more flavor. It is also yummy in a potato casserole, or in rice to give it a little “kick.”
Mild Chilies and Cheese Dip also makes a Cheesy Beer Soup. Just mix one package of the dip mix with 1 cup of water and 1 (12 oz.) bottle of beer. Whisk the dip mix together with water and beer over medium heat until the dip mix dissolves. Let it boil for a couple of minutes, whisking continuously. Remove from heat, pour through a strainer, then serve with croutons or crusty bread. M-m-m…yum!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day!
Here’s a Mother’s Day Gift from poet Kay McCarthy Reall. Kay writes our inspirational “Angel Whispers.” An angel whisper is a mini-greeting card tucked inside each package of our “heavenly gourmet mixes.”
A Mother’s Memories
by
Kay McCarthy Reall
A mother’s heart holds memories
Of days that flew too fast;
Of babies cradled in her arms,
A joy she knows won’t last.
The memories of a little child,
She proudly watched him grow;
Then memories of a young adult.
Oh, where did those years go?
A grandma’s heart holds memories
Of a tiny precious life;
A warm and special gift from God
To her son and his wife.
A baby who is like a bud,
Who soon becomes a rose;
A grandma’s thankful for the time
To watch him as he grows.
A great-grandma has memories,
As she holds a baby boy;
And like the other newborns,
He becomes her pride and joy.
A son, grandson, great-grandson,
They each make up a part
Of the happy, loving memories
Within…a mother’s heart.
Sugar Cookie Mix: Another Versatile Product from the Three Angels Gourmet Co.

SATURDAY’S FOOD TIP – COOKING WITH KIDS
Wholesale Customers: Here are suggestions you can give your customers for using our Sugar Cookie Mix.
Three Angels Gourmet Co. Sugar Cookie Mix is another versatile product. Kids can easily make a huge sugar cookie by patting all the dough into a round pizza pan and baking it. When the giant cookie has cooled, all they have to do is frost it with some colorful powdered sugar frosting, then decorate it any way they like. A giant cookie like this is great for graduation parties, Mother’s Day teas, or for bridal showers.
For something a bit more elegant, prepare a scrumptious cookie-tart in a tart pan, ice it with a cream cheese mixture, then decorate with pieces of fresh fruit.

Here’s all you need to make this delicious and eye-appealing cookie-tart:
1 pkg. Three Angels Gourmet Co. Sugar Cookie Mix
1 egg, plus 1 egg yolk
1 stick butter
An assortment of fresh fruit, cut into small pieces
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
A little vanilla flavoring (1/4 tsp. or less)
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Make cookie mix according to directions on package and chill for at least 30 minutes.
When the dough is cold, mold it into a tart pan that has been greased with cooking spray. Bake the dough at 350 degrees for about 15 to 18 minutes, until golden brown. Cool completely after baking.
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Spread a thin layer of this mixture over the cooled cookie crust. Arrange fruit over the cream cheese mixture as shown in the photo above.
Drizzle warm apricot preserves over the fruit, if desired. Refrigerate at least one hour.
To serve, cut into wedges. Store in refrigerator. Makes about 12 servings.
